Connor turned 27 this month!

O' Christmas Tree!

This is Evie's first time decorating a christmas tree!!

She LOVED it!

Connor and I went and picked up a REAL christmas tree!

I love the smell of the pine tree.

Evie had a blast putting the decorations up!

She would grab all the plastic balls off the tree,

and throw them in our kitchen, just to watch them bounce!

Hopefully next year, she will just enjoy putting them on the tree!

Connors brother, Talmage, just left on his mission to Portland, Oregon.

He's the 8th brother to leave on a mission, and luckily the last one!

UPDATE!!!

Sorry I haven't been on my blog,

I have been soooo BUSY starting my new business

and being a mommy at the same time!

So...

I had my first boutique, and I was soooo nervous!!!

There were alot of cute things at this boutique..

so I was anxious what people would think of my products!

LUCKILY, after the three day boutique,

I almost SOLD OUT of EVERYTHING!

I was sooooo excited!

I made this flower sash.. what do you think??

We put up our christmas decor in our house and Evie had a Hay Day with the christmas lights!

I love her at this age, because she is learning and experiencing new things!

Sadly we had to miss it due to STOMACH FLU!

Black Friday Story:

I went to Walmart in Heber for Black Friday! There were huge lines everywhere, and I decided to wait around the cart with Disney Princess Barbies... there were only a few of the real princess barbies, and the rest of the cart was regular dolls, so it was going to be a FIGHT to get any of the disney princess's. Right when the employee's opened the cart, everyone started pushing eachother, attempting to grab the dolls. I had to JUMP OVER 3 people, to grab 2 dolls... Pretty sure I got scratched up, hit in the face, and smacked in the ribs.. but hey, I got my dolls! Reminds me of the show, JINGLE ALL THE WAY! haha

Overall, We have had a few crazy months, but we are still alive!

At valley fair mall, watching the lights change with the music!

It was super fun, but sooo COLD!

A day at the zoo!

Evie and I went to the zoo with our best friends

All us girls had to squeeze on a ride

since they wouldn't let us ride alone!

Even though we were squished,

It's TWO o'clock in the afternoon..

Stupid sickness!

Evie's had pink eye in both eye's,

ear infection in both ears,

a cough, fever, sore throat, sinus infection,

and she's has a HUGE rash on her bum from her antibotics,

and her molars are coming in!!!!

Connor has a sore throat, flu symptoms, cold, and a cough!

I have had pink eye in both eyes, sore throat, a cold, and cough!

It's like the Living Dead at our house!

We went to jungle jim to celebrate lexie's birthday!

Evie had a blast eating the chocolate cake..

Right after, she went and got into the wipes and threw them everywhere!

I just went and got a diet coke from McDonalds.

I set it down to go grab something out of the kitchen

and Evelyn picked up the cup, and it was too heavy,

so she dropped it... all over the carpet!

I had her clean up the mess with me.. and she loved cleaning it!

She even gave it kisses to make it better!

Dinner Mess

Lets just say.. she is the messiest eater!!

She had this dinner tucked in her diaper,

up her nose,

in between her little fingers,

and smudged in her hair!

House Mess

If you look close to this mirror,

Swiss Days

Connor and I went to swiss days with my sister and her husband!

It was extremely packed, and crazy!

My sis and I were able to get these adorable owl hats

for our girls and I just love them!

Our husbands were troopers.... Till the BYU football started,

so they took the children back home,

while my sister and I stayed shopping!

It was a great day!

It was a hit, everyone loved it!!

I was afraid we wouldn't have enough cake for each person,

so I made cupcakes, just to be safe.

Between the Toes

Evelyn is obsessed with putting things in between her toes!

It's a new fascination she's came up with a week ago

and hasn't stopped since.

You name it, cereal, french fries, suckers, bananas, grass;

she sticks EVERYTHING in there!

I have tried putting socks and shoes to cover her toes up,

and yet, she finds a way!

The other day,

I found a sucker stick hidden inside her sandal.

I couldn't help but laugh!

I even caught her in her car seat, haha!

I hurried and took a picture with my phone so I would have proof!

I asked my mom if this was normal.

She replied,

"I'm not sure, but it's better than sticking things up her nose."

Adams Camping Trip

We went camping with the Adams family.

We went fishing, tubing, target shooting, cooked smores,

and got eatin' alive by mosquitos!

Oh, and the day heat was exhasting,

and the nights were freezing,

but it was such a BLAST!

Humming Birds

While we were in Provo, we found a cabin that had

tons of humming bird feeders.

If you placed your hands around them,

the humming birds would come and land on your hands.

It was awesome!

This is my first time surfing. It was extremely fun!

Evie's Clothing Obsession

I know, call me silly, but Evelyn LOVES to get into our clothes.

Any drawer she can find open,

she'll pull anything and everything out of it.

Laundry Day is Evie's favorite day.

I will lay out a load of clothes on the ground to fold, and she will

LITERALLY scatter it all over the house.

The funny part is,

she will throw a piece of clothing on her head, and crawl around.

(90 percent of the time, she has no idea where she is going).

I just say to myself,

if she's happy, then I'm happy!

Sparks Are Flying

Our 4th of July

The Fourth of July was extremely fun

(as you can tell in the pictures).

My family went to the park and had a big picnic.

Then we went back to the house to light some fireworks

and eat homemade ice cream. Delish!

It was kinda rainy, so thats why Tae and I were sitting in a tent!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

We celebrated my birthday at the Cheese Cake Factory!

We ordered my favorite dish, Mac and Cheese Balls,

and had a small ice cream!

After, Connor sent me on a Mall Shopping Spree!

It was an amazing birthday!

The next day, our friends took us out boating

to celebrate my birthday!

As you can tell in the last picture, the weather didnt turn out.

It was a total bummer, but it was still fun!

Evie HATED her life jacket,

so maybe it was a good thing we ended early!

COOKIE MONSTER

This lil' devil got into my grasshopper cookies

with out me watching! She ate 5 cookies and dumped

the rest of the bag out for Edward.

I couldn't get mad at her..

she was so excited and would make the noise

"mmmm.." as she ate the cookie!

Oakley Rodeo

We went to the Oakley Rodeo with some of our friends,

and Evie LOVED it!

She was distracted 90 percent of the time (which is rare).

She loved the animals, and of course,

the sugary snow cones.

At the end, they had a firework show,

and Evie was so intrigued by it!

She was one heck of a cow girl!

My lil' Model

Evie put on some sweet modeling moves for me the other day!

She has been OBSESSED with mirrors and windows lately.

She will shake her little booty and sing as she leans on the window.

It keeps her occupied most of the day, and I love it!

Las Vegas Vacation

We went to Vegas with some of Connors family/girl friends.

We stayed at the Exalibur, which had awesome pools, and all you can eat buffet,

but the casino was nasty!

Everytime we had to walk through,

Evie ended up smelling like a cigarette!

Connor and I got to spend our 3 year anniversary while we were there,

which made the trip more fun!

Evie's first boo-boo

The "Biggest" scare of my LIFE!!!

While we were staying in St. George, Connor and Evie were playing on the bed,

while I got ready to leave. Connor went to go grab Evie's apple juice

(which was literally a few steps away from the bed),

and BAM!! Evie fell off the bed, face hitting the floor first.

My heart fell into my stomach as I ran across the room, to pick her up.

She gasped for air for a second, then started to cry..

but still gasping in between each individual cry.

Now, if you saw the height of the bed, you would think the bed was exteremly tall..

so it was a pretty big fall!!

She ended up with a big purple goose egg on the top of her head,

with a swollen eye due to carpet burn!

Agh, not a good way to start off our trip!

And yes, Daddy gave her some licorice, since he felt so bad.

She forgave him pretty fast!

Looking At Las Vegas

We had a super fun view from our room. We were able to see our pool,

and new york, new york rollercoaster.

Evie loved leaning on the window, even though it was giving me a heart attack.

Pool Fun

The hotel pool was AWESOME!! We loved it! We spent 80% of our vacation time here.

They had awesome slides and Evie couldn't get enough of it.

We had to cake on sunscreen, since it was so warm,

But I would Vegas sun any day, over rainy Utah.

Kenzie's Graduation

My little sister graduated from Timpanogos this year. Go Twolves!

She will be attending Idaho State on a soccer scholarship.

We are so proud of her! Love you Kenzie!

Fishing Provo Cabin

We went fishing at the provo cabin.

The river was very fast, and high, so we didn't catch anything.

But it was still fun!

Having fun with Pamma

Evie and Lexie are best friends.

So its fun to have them together in the same house, with my mom.

They get spoiled rotten and recieve alot of attention.

They are so lucky to have a fun Pamma.

Hogle Zoo/Bird Show

Connor and I have a hogle zoo pass, and love to go when we can.

They have built dinosaurs around the zoo, that move, roar, and spray water.

Its actually really cool!! We also went to a bird show, and Evie LOVED it!

We had birds flying over our heads, and even got to feed a bird.

I highly recommend going, kids love it!

But what can I say, its Evie's first Easter!

Mine and Connor's baskets have practically NOTHING in them..

I got my jewelry and he got his treats, we are both happy!

She was extremely sticky with carpet and dog hair stuck to her,

so I had to give her one heck of a bath..

Connor and I were sick of Edwards hair going every where

(due to his shedding season),

so... we decided to shave it off.. and I love it!!

Plus, summer is coming up, and we don't have to worry about

Edwards dark fur getting him too hot!

A fun day with my Evie'licious

First, Evie and I had a picnic in our front yard..

we spent 2 hours on the lawn because it was so nice and sunny!

Second, we went shopping and got Evie some sunglasses. Surprisingly, she keeps them on!

Third, we went on a long walk with Edward!

Fourth, we watched Tangled - Best Movie Ever!!!

Lets home this sunshine stays for a while.. cause I am loving it!

1. Going to Jantzens basketball games!

My grandma and grandpa hartley came to visit. It was so good to see them.

2. Our Pipe Broke!!

Yes, our poor pipe froze and broke! They had to cut open our ceiling to fix it..

Oh My Goodness....

I have soooo much to catch up on! I've been so busy with the holidays. Evelyn has been sick with a cough and cold for the past couple of weeks, so I decided to put the computer down and be a mother for a while! Luckily, she is feeling better, so I'm back to blogging! Yay!!

RICE CEREAL:

Evelyn started eating rice cereal, and she LOVES it!! Her favorite thing to eat is Apples!

We just love this little girl, I just can't believe she's growing up so fast!

For New Years, we went up to our friends cabin in Oakley! We had such a blast, even though we froze our butts off (-5 degrees). Thanks for such a fun time RaShae and Matt! We love you!!

CHRISTMAS:

We celebrated our christmas eve with the Egan's. Santa came over to visit, and as you can tell, Evie flipped out.. it was just her nap time. After the christmas eve party, we went over to my parents house. We had such a great time.

THANKSGIVING 2010:

We went over to my parents house for thanksgiving! We had a delicious dinner and desserts.

Evie's baby blessing

Evelyn Belle Egan

Evie was blessed last sunday, and it went beautifully! Evie can be a lil' grump, so I prayed she would sleep during the blessing. Lucky for us, she did!! It was amazing to see her wear my baby blessing dress, she fit right into it!! Hopefully we can make it into a tradition and have my baby blessing dress passed down each generation... I guess we'll have to see!

Connor and I found this picture on the internet and we thought the baby looked like Evelyn. I love how Jesus is smiling and interacting with the baby.

Happy Halloween

So for halloween, Connor and I went to my parents house to celebrate! You can see by the pictures that Connor was Bateman, and I was... a creepy alien! lol! Evie was the little mermaid! My mom made her costume and it turned out sooooo cute! Thanks mom!!

Sunday Stroll

Evie LOVES her stroller! We just bundle her up and she stays warm and happy.

Love this sunset! You can see the pretty mountains and city behind the trees.

Connor and I just live down the street from a park, and we love to take walks down there. It's just nice to spend quality family time together because I swear we can never find time during the weekdays. It was super nice weather and we just enjoyed the nice sunday evening.

GOTTA LOVE THIS KID!!!

Connor and I were invited to go see David Archuleta Sing.. and Eat dinner at the sametime! It was a meeting about poor foreign countries, and donating money to poor families so they can start a business to support themselves. They showed us pictures of the foreign families, and then David entertained us with some of his music. Sad to say, we weren't allowed to take pictures, so Connor and I hurried and snapped a shot of us at the Dinner before they started the meeting! David Archuleta was AMAZING! He's such a talented singer, and it was so much fun seeing him up close.

Weight: 9.83lbs (24% tile)

Length: 23 inches (74% tile)

Head Circumference: 15.7 inches (80% tile)

We had a little scare about Evie's weight a couple days after we left the hospital! She wasn't gaining any weight and my peditrician was worried for her! After a couple weeks of testing and going in and out of the doctors, they found out that she just has a really fast metabolism! LUCKY GIRL! So when we went in to find out her weight at her 2 month appt., they were so excited to see her over 9lbs (and me too). Even though it was exciting to see her weight, I hated seeing the nurses give Evie her first shots.. breaks my heart to see her cry like that, and that there is nothing I could do about it! I'm just glad its every 2 months and not every week!

Car Ride + Mamma Mia + Binky = Happy Baby

Evie is already 6 weeks!! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. Evie is beginning to sleep better at night (Hallelujah), and is also becoming more aware with her surroundings! She loves to look at anything bright, such as, the TV, our window in our bedroom, the ceiling lights, etc. She also likes her swing, riding in her stroller, and taking rides in the car, as long as she is listening to the "Mamma Mia" soundtrack (If we don't have Mamma Mia playing in the car, Evie officially declares WAR on Mommy and Daddy). Evie is beginning to smile and make eye contact, which Connor and I are Loving!!!
